TEHRAN- The president of Guinea Conakry and Hungary’s president extended congratulations to Masoud Pezeshkian on his election as the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

General Mamadi Doumbouya, president of Guinea Conakry, conveyed warm wishes in a written message, expressing heartfelt congratulations from the people of Guinea and its government. He also expressed sincere wishes for Pezeshkian’s health and success in his new role as the head of the executive branch of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Masoud Pezeshkian was elected as the ninth president of Iran in the second round of the presidential elections with the majority of votes on July 5th.

Hungary’s President Tamás Sulyok has congratulated Iranian President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian on his election victory.

Sílók stated, “The President-elect of the Islamic Republic of Iran, allow me to express my best wishes for your election as the president of Iran. I attach great importance to the centuries-longstanding commercial and cultural cooperation between Iran and Hungary.”

Sílók also urged for the advancement of the two countries' relations and wished for the success of the president of Iran.
